Shine - Our Sunday Morning Children's Groups

image

Our Sunday morning children's groups are called 'Shine'.  Everyone is welcome.

Please see the details below  for more information and please if you have any questions.

Shine - on Sunday mornings

imageHere at the Good Shepherd, children and young people are welcome every Sunday.  At All Age Services (usually on the first Sunday of the month and at special festivals such as Harvest, Mothering Sunday, Christmas and Easter) children are an intrinsic part of our service; they get involved and join in alongside the adult members of the congregation.  Toys, books and colouring sheets are available for younger children if needed.

On other Sundays, school aged children meet in their own groups (see below for more details) and join the service in time to share in communion.  Younger children are welcome to stay in the service with their parents - we provide 'Happy Bags' for them to use if they wish.  Alternatively, if accompanied by a parent, they may either join the children's groups or use the toys and books in the room adjacent to the main hall.

Online Safety

We sometimes use tablets in our Sunday morning activities to enable the children to access information on the internet.  We have an Online Safety Policy Statement.  All children using the tablets (and one of their parents) will be asked to read and sign our Online Safety Agreement.
