Growing in Faith

There are regular opportunities at the Good Shepherd for those wanting to explore the Christian faith, and for those wanting to grow in faith and fellowship with other Christians.

Emmaus Course – ideal for those who would like to learn more about the Christian faith and what it means to be a Christian. Courses run when there are sufficient people interested so please do contact us if you would like to find out more.

Alpha Course – organised by our neighbouring parish of All Saints, Boyne Hill.

G.I.F.T. Group (Growing in Faith Together)

This group was set up with the needs and interests of those adults confirmed in recent years particularly in mind.  It is open to anyone else who would like to join us.  We currently meet during the evening twice a month, arriving at 7.30pm to start at 8pm.  Please see the calendar or contact the Church Office for information about our meeting each month.

Pilgrim Courses - Recently we have been using the Church of England's Pilgrim Courses, including the Lord's Prayer Course and The Creeds Course.  We have used 'Turning to Christ' as a means of preparing for Confirmation and recently did 'The Bible' course.  We are now planning another of the Pilgrim courses to prepare people for Confirmation.   Please contact the Church Office for more information or to sign up.
