At the Good Shepherd, as in most other churches, our regular activities and our Christian mission in the community is financed largely by contributions from church members. As part of our service to God, many members contribute a regular sum either by weekly cash donations or regular standing orders.
For members who are taxpayers, donations can be pledged by way of Gift Aid. This allows the Church currently to recover 25p for every £1 donated, and is a very effective way of increasing the funds which the church needs to undertake its ministry. Tax can then be recovered from both regular donations and/or from any one-off donation at any time.
If you would like to know more about Christian Stewardship, or about a Gift Aid pledge, please contact Philip Leonard at the Church office on 01628 632567.
